You can start your sightseeing in Plaza del Charco (Pond Square), where the sea used to arrive and shrimp was harvested. Then go on to the Plaza de Concejil, where you will find places such as Remier, Ventoso, Iriarte and the Cruz Roja. Another famous square surrounds the church, where you will find a parochial temple that is home to a great artistic legacy. San Felipe Castle is the next stop on this route, the castle was built between 1630 and 1644. You can finish your sightseeing trip with the San Telmo hermitage.

By Car from Los Rodeos Airport (Tenerife North):
- Take the TF-5 road for approx 25km
- Follow the signs to the city centre "Puerto de la Cruz - Centro"
- Then follow the signs to "Playa San Telmo" or "Avenida de Colón".
By Taxi:
The nearest airport is Los Rodeos (Tenerife North) which is only 25 kilometres away. If you are arriving at this airport we suggest that you take a taxi and within 20 minutes you will be at the reception desk. |
